How to Trust God and Worry Less (Kirk Day School)
A class taught by Brooke Cogan for 5th-6th grade girls. Girls will meet once a week for five weeks as they reflect on, think through, and understand practical ways they can start or continue trusting in God more and worrying less.
Price is cost per student. Snacks will be provided at the beginning of each meeting. (Girls should bring their own water/drink.) Girls will also receive a folder with class resources each week.
Classes take place after school from 3:15-4:15pm on the following 5 Wednesdays (spring 2026):
3/25, 4/1, 4/8, 4/15, and 4/22
Note from Brooke: “Worrying is one of the best distractions for a girl not walking in God’s calling on her life. Especially growing up in 2025/2026, worrying is far too easy to do and there are way too many things to worry about. But God calls His children to trust in Him. Trusting in God sets us free from all of the negative affects of worrying, but this is so much easier said than done. I remember struggling with worrying a lot when I was younger, so I am passionate about encouraging and equipping the next generation in how to pursue their relationship and walk with the Lord. This is the best way to learn how to trust God and worry less. I CANNOT WAIT to meet with, get to know, and teach your daughter on this important topic.”
