December 2024 Advent Plan
I hope you are just as excited as I am for this month full of extra cheer, joy, and cookies! The season of advent is a special time where we focus on the arrival of Jesus as a baby in a manger and all that it means to us. Advent plans are a great thing to do to remind us to keep our eye on the prize- Jesus! Even amidst all of the gingerbread house contests, hot chocolate, and buying and giving gifts, as you go throughout this plan, you’ll notice it is quick and simple for a reason. While Christmas is fun and joyful, it can also cause an extra emphasis on to do lists and being busy, something most of us struggle with balancing already. So I wanted to make a plan that you can still make time for and prioritize so that you can focus on keeping peace even while running errands to pick up the forgotten christmas gift, the family member from the airport, etc. Wherever this Christmas season finds you, you can still make time for writing down three prayers for the day, reading a short passage, and writing down a takeaway. Remember that the best Christmas gift you can give Jesus is spending time with Him!
This plan consists of a space for you to write down 3 prayers each day leading up to Christmas. The plan runs Dec 1st through the 25th. There is also a suggested reading for each day which run from Genesis through the New Testament. There is also space to write down one takeaway from the daily reading.
